Our Link Trade Program
Reciprocal
"link trades" or "link swaps" have been shown to greatly assist
in boosting search engine rankings. Consequently, we're very willing
to participate in reciprocal link trades with other similar-industry
websites. However, in order for the link trade to be equally beneficial
to both parties, the following conditions must be present. Those
not familiar with this subject may find this a little confusing.
Take the time to carefully read and study about this topic. Please
understand that we do not assist in providing education about
this topic other than by providing the list below of resources
of which you may study.
Link
Popularity
The site being linked from must be indexed with a given search
engine for that given search engine to give "link popularity scoring"
for the site being linked to in order to increase the ranking
of the site being linked to. This means that (in situation of
a link trade with ClownsForHire.com) if ClownsForHire.com has
a link to your site and ClownsForHire.com is indexed with a given
search engine, then your site benefits. However, if your site
has a link to ClownsForHire.com but your site is not indexed with
the given search engine, then ClownsForHire.com does not received
the benefit of "link popularity scoring". Hence, good for your
site, but not good for ClownsForHire.com. As you might expect,
our interest in link trades is with those sites are indexed with
the search engines.
In the search engine world, Google has emerged as the standard.
The simple fact is that Google dominates the search engine business.
We use being indexed with Google as our measure of "link worthiness".
To see if your site is indexed with Google,
click here and look towards the bottom of the page for the
section that says "Who links to you?".
If your site is not indexed with Google, then that's a problem
that you need to fix! Being linked to from a strongly indexed
site like ClownsForHire.com has many advantages. Mainly, for those
who are not yet indexed with Google, sites that are linked to
by strongly indexed sites are usually found and indexed by Google
as a result of being linked to from the indexed site and in many
times, quite quickly.
